The room is guaranteed once the booking is completed and the deposit is paid.

For reservations made through our website, a valid credit card must be used to pay the deposit and guarantee the reservation. In case of cancellation, the provided credit card will be charged according to our cancellation policy.

The total amount of the stay is due upon arrival. Special rules apply for groups, parties, celebrations, meetings, and conferences, during holidays and special events in Bornholm.

Personal Information

Personal data is stored for 2 years in the HBOOK booking system, after which the data is anonymized.

If a guest wishes to be anonymized before the 2 years have passed, they can contact booking@hotelkysten.dk.

Due to legal requirements, we are obligated to store personal data for foreign guests for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and changes must always be made in writing by sending an email to booking@hotelkysten.dk.

If you fail to show up for a reservation, the full stay will be charged. If a situation arises during the stay that requires an early departure, the full stay will be charged.

If you wish to modify your booking, such as changing or canceling a reservation, the following cancellation deadlines apply:

  • Cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival day at 12 PM/noon: Full deposit refund.
  • Cancellation later than 14 days before the arrival day at 12 PM/noon: 100% of the total stay price will be charged.

Cancellation of rooms during the Folkemødet event can only be done by prior agreement.


Payment can be made with Visa, Dankort, Maestro, and Mastercard. We use Quickpay as the provider for card payments.
